Diversity in Publishing: Digging Deeper

May 9, 2018 @ 4:30 pm

$10.00

The catering for the May luncheon is sponsored by Free Spirit Publishing. More about Free Spirit below.

Diversity in publishing is more than a trend: it’s our present and future. How can publishers be proactive in ensuring diverse representation in books and staffing? Join Hannah Ehrlich, director of marketing and publicity at multicultural children’s book publisher Lee & Low Books, for a look at the current landscape, activism efforts, and challenges. What can the statistics teach us? What will make a meaningful impact on the numbers? And how can publishers support diversity at every stage of book creation?
