Metadata Management: Processes and Best Practices for Publishers
May 14, 2014 @ 5:30 pm
$20.00Building on a brief summary of metadata fundamentals, this presentation will cover what happens when your metadata leaves your publishing house. Retailers and libraries — not just publishers — use many sources of metadata, and some of these data feeds overwrite one another. Retailers also change the metadata that gets sent to them, load data feeds at different rates, and handle corrections differently. Participants can expect to come away with practical guidelines on creating, distributing, and updating the metadata for their books.
